Week 1 Announcements!
April 4, 2017
Another Inline season is upon us beginning next week. We will be doing things a little different this year. Next week will be an evaluation week. Please come out on your day and time below. You are welcome to bring a friend who has not registered yet to come try it. Below is a list of times for next week for the different age groups. You are welcome to come out for both hours of your time slot or just one whatever fits your schedule. Please bring a jersey for next week as we won't be handing jerseys out until the following week when the season fully begins. Information regarding what team your player is on and a schedule will come out on the weekend of the 15th - 17th. The times listed below will also reflect what time your league will play for the season.
One thing that we have made mandatory this season is that all teams must have a coach/parent on the bench during games. This ensures floor time is even and discipline is in place. Saying this please let us know if you haven't already if you are interested in coaching or assisting on your team. Thanks and look forward to seeing you all at Moses Springer next week (all floor times will be at this venue).

Three KW Inline Hockey players received top honours and were selected as Team Canada members.

Emma Woolner Deakos will travel to Roana, Italy on June 16 where she will tend goal for the Canadian Junior Women's team at the FIRS World Inline Hockey Championships.
On July 10, as members of the Team Canada U16's, Eastan Eckert and Carter Buehlow will travel to Kapolei, Hawaii to compete in the AAU Junior Olympics.
Woolner Deakos, Eckert and Buehlow play recreationally with the KW Inline Hockey League and also compete with KW's Rage representative program, where they and their teammates have been successful in capturing a number of AAA international championships.
Last season at the age of fourteen, both Eckert and Buehlow made the jump to the KW Rage Jr A's of the Great Lakes Inline Hockey League.
On Monday June 13, KW Inline Hockey, in conjunction with the KW Rage Jr A's will be holding a Memorial Game Night in honour of past KW Inline Board member and former Rage Head Coach, Harold Schulz.
The evening will involve a youth Superhero mini inline hockey game, a GLi Jr A League trophy renaming ceremony in honour of H. Schulz, followed by the Jr A Rage's final home game of the season vs the Buffalo Storm.
The event will take place at Moses Springer Arena in Waterloo and will get started at7:00pm
