WHERE TO PURCHASE EQUIPMENT LOCALLY

  • The ShopInline.ca (Kaleidosports) retail store has decided to no longer carry inline equipment for the 2018 season, but is clearing remaining equipment at 50% off. They are at 1601 Victoria St. N, Kitchener and carry indoor and outdoor wheels, bearings, pants, girdles, padded shirts, and other inline accessories, but NO SKATES
  • National Sports, Pro Hockey Life, and Sportchek all carry a small selection of inline skates (generally Bauer skates) which usually come standard with outdoor wheels
  • Many players sell their used skates during the first week of the season
  • CoastHockeyShop.com carries a wide range of higher-end equipment, but please budget 1.5-2 weeks when ordering as they're located in Vancouver

MANDATORY - PLAYERS

  • CSA approved helmet with cage
  • Elbow pads
  • Gloves
  • Ice hockey pants or inline hockey pants (with or without girdle)
  • Shin pads
  • Jock or pelvic protector
  • Inline hockey skates

OPTIONAL - PLAYERS

  • Shoulder pads or padded shirt (most players elect to not wear shoulder pads due to the heat)
  • Indoor inline hockey wheels (most skates come standard with outdoor wheels, but many players elect to purchase indoor wheels for increased floor grip)

MANDATORY - GOALIES

Please note that most of this equipment is available to borrow from the league's communal goalie equipment

  • CSA approved goalie helmet or
    CSA approved helmet and cage
  • Upper body protector
  • Catcher
  • Blocker
  • Throat guard
  • Hockey pants
  • Goalie pads
  • Girdle/Protective Cup
  • Goalie stick
  • Roller skates or running shoes (the league has steel-toed covers to go over shoes)

OPTIONAL - GOALIES

  • No local retailers carry inline goalie skates, so most goalies elect to wear running shoes
